The concept of my Celebrate Newton banner design is exploring community. Illustrated in the designs are aspects of adventure and time spent outside in all 13 villages of newton. Newton has so much to offer; from places to learn and cultivate culture, spaces to exercise and explore, beautiful shopping & dining options, to parks and trails. There is no better place to call home and celebrate.
In these bright bold designs, you can see dynamic silhouettes enjoying their community environments. the figures are walking, biking, kayaking, and strolling through the bold forms on the banner. This posterized technique used to create this artwork allows a diverse group of viewers to relate to and connect with the imagery presented. The goal in creating these works was to add vibrant color to the community and showcase the outdoor spaces that newton provides its citizens to flourish and grow in "The Garden City."
